"We were so happy to have found this local restaurant in Es Castell! Really tasty food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, it’s a place also for local people, not only tourists like the other restaurants near the old port. We loved it and we went there a few times! Good food for fair price. Highly recommended to book your table to eat outside in the terrace."

"This place is a must visit if you a foodie visiting the area. Really authentic tapas and such a great vibe in there. Prices are extremely reasonable and portions are huge - it’s easy to over order. We came here twice on our trip. Would really recommend the Baby Squid, Huevos Rotos, Padron Peppers, jalapeño Poppers and Croquettes."

"We have been at least once a day after we found this place, lunch or dinner. Freshly cooked tapas. Great burgers. Very friendly staff, best reserve a table to be sure of one as it gets busy because it's so good !"

"I've been going here for years and it's still excellent..amazing atmosphere in this cheap and cheerful Taverna. Their menu is broad but simple and great value. Always love their Garlic Liver & Chips"

"During our holiday in Es Castell we must have been here at least 4 times over the week for evening meals, tapas, or just a drink. The staff are all very friendly, the food is excellent and it's just a nice spot to sit and eat and drink and watch the world go by. The place is popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. If you time it right in the evenings you can see a man walking his dog and cat up and down the streets past the bar."

"For us this is a must visit when in Es Castell. We have eaten here on numerous occasions over the last 10 years and have never been disappointed. This restaurant is located on a side street with no views over the water / harbour. However if you are looking for a genuine authentic Spanish restaurant / bar for food or drinks with friendly welcoming service at reasonable prices this is always on our list to visit when in Es Castell. On our most recent visit we just wanted a light lunch and ordered meatballs , chips and aioli. The portion of chips we initially received were only just warm. This was rectified immediately without question. We will return when we next visit Es Castell."

"I only just came across this Cafe Bar by chance when out for a walk as its located away from the harbour tourist area & decided to return back later on to give it a try.With 8 outside covered tables on the pavement side decking, I ended up having to wait as all of them were taken,there's plenty of tables available inside the bar area but my preference was a table outside.I did have a friendly chat with an English couple already sitting down & was told you can't go wrong by coming here .Once a table came free I was able to view the menu which does offer a good choice of options at very reasonable prices aswel .I placed an order with the very pleasant staff on duty who provided table service .The drinks order of 1 litre jug of Sangria was very nice & fruity , the food order of cheese burger & chips and chips ,fried egg & a burger was excellent, infact it was that good I was keen to return back the following day !(also re visited since for late evening drinks)This Cafe Bar does stay open all day but is closed on a Tuesday & I do recommend a visit if you get the chance to."

"For those ones staying at Es Castell/Mahon it’s nice place to have quick food (tapas or picar). Price good, nice space, fast service and definitely good food. We visited twice and would love to come back next time."
